Video quality measurement (PSNR etc. for h.264) Tool required

the official mplayer tarball includes a script to compute the PSNR between
two video files in the TOOLS subdir (psnr-video.sh) it basically just
extracts every frame to an image file and does the computations and comparisons
from there, so you need to install the netpbm package aswell. but as you can
imagine it uses ALOT of disk space depending on the number of frames + quality
