Installed (auto removable)

Hi all


I have noticed that in Synaptic there are a few packages in the status
category "Installed (auto removable)".  I suspect these are packages
that are no longer needed due to me having removed the package(s) that
depended on them.  Is this correct?
And as Synaptic brags about these packages being "auto removable", how
do I auto remove them?  I have snooped about all the menues and
settings in Synaptic but I guess I must be temporarily blind.
