Hello all,

I would like to be able to use this great software to write education
software for Ubuntu.

I used to write professional preschool education software on the C64.

Can we get Panda3d into the repositories?

It is great software that fits well with python. It would allow the
development of great education software as well as games in 2d and 3d. It is
very easy to learn to write with. It only took me 2 days part time to make a
3d program that lets one fly about the solar system and see the planets and
the shadows of them on each other using my old Breezy system.

I run a amd64 x2 am2 system. I would like to be able to use this great
software to write education software for Ubuntu. The current ed software is
not up to par IMOHO. What are the steps needed to get this into the Ubuntu
system, so that everyone could use what was written with it?

Thanks Douglas
