Here's your problem: the Ubuntu Desktop CD requires at least 256 MB

If you download the "Alternate install CD" [1] you will probably be able
to install (because the installer will be in text-mode; it is still not
very hard though if you are willing to read what it tells you), but
running the installed system afterwards might be a bit slow. At least
you might want to to use lighter applications than the default (e.g.
epiphany instead of firefox as a browser, or abiword and gnumeric
instead of openoffice)
