List-Id a mail header that the ubuntu lists add to messages. You have to 
set your mailer to view all headers to see it. In thunderbird, you open 
the View menu, go down to headers and select All. Other mailers are 
probably different. Some might an option in the right click menu of a 
message.

For this list, I have it set to filter if the List-Id "contains" 
ubuntu-users.lists.ubuntu.com
