I don't know if this message went through to the group, so at the risk
of dupes, I'll re-post.
I have a LAMP server currently running 5.10, and would like to upgrade
this to Dapper. I do not have direct access to the server (SSH/FTP
only). Has anyone here done this that would be willing to give me some
direction on this? I would expect that I would need to take a snapshot
of the entire system, change the apt sources to dapper, and then run
apt-get dist-upgrade, but I am concerned about the configuration of
Apache, bind, dns, clam, mysql, etc. changing when the upgrades are
complete.
(Ultimately I would like to have this upgrade also run php5/mysql5)
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
