I did the same on an iBook G4 with a bcm43xx card ( Broadcom, "Airport
Extreme" in my case) The files / repos are at
http://ubuntu.cafuego.net/dists/dapper-cafuego/bcm43xx/
for dapper) or
http://au.ubuntu.cafuego.net/dists/edgy-cafuego/bcm43xx/
(for edgy - 6.10 )
Once the firmware is installed , it's just a matter of loading the bcm43xx
module, ( sudo modprobe bcm43xx ) and a couple of simple steps. See

The repos are browsable if you just need to grab the firmware deb ( use
one of the mirrors) .
