postfix and blocking spam

I used to run postfix as my mail server until about 2 years ago when I
switched to Debian and discovered sa-exim which can block spam at the
source by rejecting it before it ever gets sent using spamassassin.
Over all, I would like postfix better, since it's much easier to read
and understand the config files and I don't have to rely on debconf.
Plus I liked the tendency of postfix to slow to a painful crawl during
my relay tests while connected to mail-abuse.org whenever it rejected
something. It really makes spammers think twice about using my server
for their thousands of messages if they actually decide to try.
Is there currently a solution in Edgy for blocking spam that gives me
the power of sa-exim and works with postfix? Maybe there's something
even better? I'm definitely open to that possibility as well.
Thanks,
Lorenzo
