Triple boot:XP,ubuntu&FC5 grub failed

Yes, but it should not result in error 13.

As an experiment, I modified my menu.lst to call chainloader ... where
I have grub installed in mbr.  Result was error 13, same result as OP.
Of course, there are other reasons for error 13 I suppose.
