Triple boot:XP,ubuntu&FC5 grub failed

Can you post the grub/menu.lst from the FC5 system?

Alternatively, press 'c' at the grub menu and boot into Ubuntu manually
see:
http://www.gnu.org/software/grub/manual/html_node/Overview.html#Overview

and once booted into ubuntu do:

# grub-install /dev/hda(or whatever your disk is)

# update-grub

That should find all three systems
