Creating/moving Home Folder to the Desktop

Actually, the only thing that shows up in Applications>System Tools is
Qtparted!  



I am trying to do the same thing,But I want the icon of my home folder
to be the little house, not just a folder icon.  when right clicking on
the folder, I can only add an emblem to it.
