OpenOffice.org Lock-up on Ubuntu on NVidia Gforce4 MX440 8X video card

I'm using the regular nvidia-glx driver, I wonder if this has been
bumped down to a legacy card?



There was a version released that totally borked my GL apps/games and I
had to downgrade and pin the version for a bit. To be honest I'm still
not sure if that's fixed, I did upgrade it and I only get between
500-600 FPS in glxgears. Maybe that explains my XGL/Compiz
slowness..and I'm running a 2.6GHZ Pentium 4.



Never had any OO problems though.
