Has Ubuntu Replaced Windows on Your Box?

Ubuntu has taken over one of my Windows's Boxes and half of my laptop. 
It will also replace Windows on one of my other boxes, but not sure if
I will boot it up/put it back together again.  One day, it may just
take over my laptop fully, but not until the studdering
problem/touchpad glitch is fixed.



Fact is, I know what makes it studder, but I can't fix it since I'm not
a programmer nor a hardware specialist, just a computer tech with
certain aspects of hardware knowledge.
