Perhaps indeed we should calm down a little and reconsider the very idea
of that list, the very idea that initially made Ubuntu attractive - the
idea of being focused on _human beings_. We should accept each other as
we are, we should focus on what's important _here_ (Ubuntu, the users,
...) instead of discussing about what is offensive and what isn't.
Personally, I don't think the "F" word is too offensive and, if I were
to administer an IRC channel, this probably wouldn't be a reason to ban
people but that's not my cup of tea and I don't know what happened
there, anyhow. Likewise I don't think it is too much offensive on that
list, not as much as it is off-topic and (obviously) causing a lot of
pointless traffic, a lot of people 'bashing' each other without a
particular reason.
