I'm looking into vmware.  It seems to be a better solution than wine on
the surface.

Is it possible to setup an ubuntu server with vmware server, and then
have ubuntu workstations running vmware workstation actually run windows
apps from the vmware server? (sounds a bit like a virtual network)...
