dbus compile problems

Thanks for the fix! I am fairly new to Ubuntu and still learning how to
work with the command line part of it. I was a little freaked out when
I re-started my machine yesterday and found the scrambled screen and
error message. Thanks to the info here I was able to update the xserver
(after a few tries) and bring Ubuntu back to life. Thanks again for the
help!
