mp3 plugins installed but amarok still won't play mp3s

Same problem for me. Grrrrrr. That won't solve it:



$ sudo apt-get install libmad0 libxine-extracodecs

Reading package lists... Done

Building dependency tree... Done

libmad0 is already the newest version.

Package libxine-extracodecs is not available, but is referred to by
another package.

This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or

is only available from another source

E: Package libxine-extracodecs has no installation candidate
