Yes, you can, but there's no point to it.  The current release in the
repositories is the same software that's installed on your machine
already.  It has a larger version number to force it to update the
broken patch if that one is installed.   You're free to "install it",
however, you can also wait until another update is out.

Note that if you go ahead and install it now, you can get the nagging
update-notifier off your back. ;-)
