UBUNTU Live DVD - Custom

Hi all

I have been trying to configure a customised DVD (Breezy Badger) and 
have run into the File Limit problem while trying to use the 
"create_compressed_fs" option to recompress the extracted_fs to DVD. I 
get the : Open input: File too large message.
ulmit = unlimited   and I even tried to set it to bigger than 2Gb but 
still no joy.
Is there any way around this.

Any info would be great
