Has Ubuntu Replaced Windows on Your Box?

I haven't used Windows at home for some years now.

My laptop (old Toshiba Satellite) has been Linux'ised since I got it (no OS previously). I'm looking now at building an (X)Ubuntu media centre, and an Ubuntu workhorse ... although my girlfriend wants XP Home for that (how can I talk her out of it??), and I'm tempted just for gaming (I know, it's lame).

At work it's all Windows workstations, unfortunately. I have put Ubuntu on the shared CD burner, of course -- you try finding (free) CD burning software for Windows! I really can't understand why we developers, with a deployment target-environment of AIX, aren't using something more Unix'y. One day, one day.

Anyway, in short: Ubuntu replaced SuSE on my boxen ... and SuSE replaced Mandrake replaced Debian replaced Redhat (back when it was still Redhat, not Fedora) replaced Windows '95 replaced Windows 3.11 replaced MS-DOS (various incarnations) replaced PC-DOS (I'm sure my parents still have the floppies somewhere).
