Any good video podcast viewers for Ubuntu?

I'm looking for something to watch video podcasts with, something like
iTunes. iTunes is a pain to subscribe to the video podcasts (you have to
keep drilling down to find them), but it is pretty good for updating and
viewing them once subscribed.

I couldn't get Democracy to work, and I tried to follow a guys instructions
that included a "force" command, which corrupted my software index. I was
able to fix that, but am now leery of straying from the official
repositories. I mostly want to watch Diggnation, Democracy Now, and TWIT.
I'm sure there are good audio podcasts programs, but I am looking for
video.

I haven't been able to get PenguinTV to accept a URL yet, it doesn't seem to
do anything at all. I couldn't find any documentation on it, either.

When I manually download podcasts, I use VLC to watch them. I don't have a
TV, so video podcasts are my only source of TV, lol.

thanks!
