chkrootkir LKM Trojan ?

By staying online listening to a radio station that used the
libmusicbrainz

library,I became a victim.

My logs from the date of infection show that it originated in exactly
that .lib.

Now I feel that chkrootkit nor rkhunter may not be the solution,as much
as a temporary fix.
