OpenMosix on Ubuntu

I am trying quite hard to install openMosix on ubuntu, but I am having
some problems.



Basically from what I have found, you need to re-compile the linux
kernel with mosix patches. This is done by getting a kernel source
package, unpacking it in /usr/src/linux and the running the matching
patch in the same directory then compiling it using:



make menuconfig

make dep bzImage modules modules_install



and then adding the new kernel to the GRUB boot loader.



Unfortunately I have not got this to work as the kernel will not
compile.
