Personally I think that this is great! I have just done a fresh install
using the recent point release, upon completion of a gnome alternate
install there is one update available totalling a massive 167kb, very
sweet.
I remember Alexander was wondering what kernel it uses, and I can safely
say it uses the most recent 15-26 kernel. With the initial server iso
release I suffered from it freezing during reboot after installation (at
uncompressing linux) and unfortunately this remains the same.
I have an important question, at the moment I am using debmirror to make
a local copy of the updates and security updates, this is gradually
eating more and more space up. If I can be sure that there will be
further point-releases in the future then I will just give up
maintaining a mirror and get the new isos when they arrive and update
using apt-cdrom add.
Are future point releases planned, and if so, for how long?
