I, for one, think that your comments were relevant and have raised
quite a bit of interest.  Nobody is forced to read any particular
thread and it is easy to ignore or block those that one doesn't wish to
see.  It is unusual to see such complaints but that is the value of
having such a diverse community - you get different points of view. 
You cannot please everyone all of the time.
