Hi! I know your pain! Having an ATI card in a Linux system can be a
pain.
Aniway! enough ranting! Here's how I got my card to work, just please
backup the neccesary files.

On second thought, you have an PCI-express card? A pretty new one.
Sometimes the latest and greatest may cause a head ache in Linux -
thats my expierence any way!

PS: Type glxgears -printfps and let it run for a couple of seconds and
use this as a benchmark for any improvement!
