It works with LILO?   Why did ubuntu switch to grub by default then?

There's a lot to consider when you start talking about the RAID-Z
model vs. software RAID-5, which has its own overheads.  My gut is
untrained, though :)

Not necessarily, of course.  Yes, the jury is still out, but I like
the signs I've seen so far, and I don't think my optimism is entirely
unwarranted.
