We already had a discussion about this once and there were two conclusions:
* As Peter already replied, the sorting of your mail should not be
based on the subject but on the To field (or List-id).
* Tags between brackets like [this] can be very helpful when they
really have a meaning. So when I post to the list, starting a thread
about some Gnome related issue, I could juste add [GNOME] in front of
it so that people would now if they are interested in this thread or
not.
Good:
* [GNOME] Fonts look ugly
* [NX] Problem with official (closed source) server
Still good but could be better (no [tag] but still an understandable subject):
* GDM won't start
Bad:
* Newbie question here! Please help!!!
* How come....
* Please unsubscribe me!!!!!
:-)
So this could be so much better when people would add a meaningful tag
at the beginning of their subject.
