doing an ubuntu install without a cd or dvd

There is a problem. The computer I am doing an Ubuntu install on tonight has
no dvd/cd burner, so I must install it by another way. I would like to use a
bootable floppy disk if possible and then get the rest of the packages
through apt-get or some other method. I believe that is called a net
install, and it can be done with Debian Sarge. If that is not possible I
need another way, but the floppy way seems best. I also have other computers
on this network, so if its possible to mount a Ubuntu ISO. Then it will show
up as the same as a cdrom drive with a cd, and I would try to install it
over the network using NFS or something similar. The bios on this computer
supports network boots.
