installation problem???

 Hello Sir,

Ii m trying to move to Ubuntu. I have two version of it 5.10 & 5.04

When i insert install Cd in to CDROM and reboots the system .i gets main
menu which generlly comes. After this when i push enter my PC is going to
restart.......

Pzlz help me  replyy as soon as prossible.......
