acroread plugin not working

Where did you get Acrobat 7 from? Try uninstalling it and instaling it
from synaptic.

What's it's saying is pretty clear, it can't find, or make work, the
library it expects to find at 
/usr/lib/Adobe/Acrobat7.0/Browser/intellinux/nppdf.so

Do you have a file there? Does it look okay? Is there a line with
'XtCalloc' and what happens if you comment it out?
