If Bluetooth is your only option, just stop now. Bluetooth support in
Ubuntu is almost non-existent. You can connect a phone. You can send
SMS messages through it. You can, with enough hassle, make Multisync
sort of work with it and even have one file at a time sent from your
phone to the computer. The other direction? Still not possible with
any tools I've been able to find.
As for other devices: my Bluetooth mouse never worked ever, my Bluetooth
headset ditto. The framework is present for all that stuff, but the
part that actually supplies functionality isn't there.
