Networking & Internet and File sharing

Hai,
       i and my freinds have 4 PC (Ubuntu 5.10) and we wish to create a
network between these 4 PC. and share internet connection and file sharing.
We buy and fit LAN cards for this. *We want to know how we setup a network
for sharing internet and Files.*
