XawTV : full screen mode doesn't work

Hello,

I use XawTV to watch TV on Ubuntu, and I have a problem :

When I press 'F' to switch to full screen mode, it goes to full screen
mode (covers the entire screen with a black background), BUT, the
picture does not fill the screen, it will not grow larger than the
native resolution, around 700 pixel wide or something I think.

Does anyone experience the same ? Is there a cure ?

I notice that with a different TV viewer, "TVtime", full screen mode
works fine, so it must be really a XawTV problem then, and not a video
card driver issue (as I thought at some point).

TVtime has other issues though, so I prefer to try fixing XawTV than
switching to TVtime.

Any help gratefully received... :-)
