Install Dapper to FakeRaid 1?

I installed Dapper onto a system with Intel ICH5 RAID enabled and the 
drives set as mirrored (RAID 1).

Some messages did go by about loading raid detection/modules but no RAID 
array was detected nor was I given any oppurtunity to install on RAID.

What is the current state of detect/install to FakeRAID (ala nForce4, 
Intel ICH6/5, ...) or to Linux RAID (md...)?

Is there any improved install support in Dapper or is the below still as 
good as it gets?
