I don't know of any that are currently in the Ubuntu package database,
but it looks like one called "Roadster" is in development:
http://linuxadvocate.org/projects/roadster/

I found another program called Roadnav:
http://roadnav.sourceforge.net/

You can download and install the Debian package for it:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/roadnav/roadnav_0.12-1_i386.deb?download

Just click the "OK" button when Firefox asks if you want to open
roadnav_0.12-1_i386.deb with gdebi-gtk. You can then install the
package and run it by typing: "roadnav" into a terminal.

When you start Roadnav it will start downloading the map data. This
will take some time depening on your Internet connection speed.

Also, when you get directions Roadnav downloads more data from the
Internet. So you may find that it's faster just to use one of these
online mapping sites:
http://local.google.com/
http://www.mapquest.com/
http://maps.yahoo.com/
