Strange problem with vim in xterm on Dapper

Hello,

I never had such a problem, it's pretty strange. When I run vim in
xterm under Dapper the cursor suddenly disappears (or it seems that it
becomes black, instead of white). I start xterm with the command:
xterm -bg black -fg white.

I first tought it is a problem with this plugin:
http://www.geocities.com/yegappan/taglist/ Because it always occurred
when I enabled/disabled the taglist. However, later I saw that the
cursor also dissapears when I create or close a new window.
