Horrible fonts after latest dist-upgrade (dapper beta)

Don't think so.  For me, the new pango build was yesterday & the only way I 
kept the fonts from getting mucked up was to leave out kde-guidance & take 
the rest.  This, after a deliberate search for the culprit.

According to another subscriber to the bug (40683), installing 
msttcorefonts "helped" (his words) ...so I do not know if it was a cure or a 
bandaid.
