This is the wrong place for it.  i810switch is not related to gdm, and
this will cause unnecessary questions upon upgrades.  Any config file
controlled by apt such as /etc/init.d/gdm, is generally best left
unedited unless there is no alternative.

The best option is to create a new /etc/init.d script to run it.  Please
see /etc/init.d/README then man update-rc.d to get the new script to
start on boot.

Alternatively, if the best option is too much like hard work, a more
neutral existing script to add it to is near the end of
/etc/init.d/bootmisc.sh, although this will cause apt to ask a question
when the initscripts package is upgraded.
