Automatic Clone of Ubuntu systems

I have used g4u, the problem is (at least with the one I used) is that
it writes it's image to an FTP server and not to a disk. 'Acronis True
Image' (http://www.acronis.com/) does a great job for me. I can span my
image across cd's or dvd's, I can put it on a usb drive or store it on a
shared drive on my network. I have been able to restore a single image
to two different machines and have the pc in my kids' rooms set up
identical to mine.
