Sorry, I still don't get it. He said he _had_ to keep Windows around in
case he trashed his Ubuntu install, and I pointed out that that wasn't at
all necessary. Then you said that he'd need it to get email, and I
disagree that the OS makes any difference at all in this age of web mail.
It's not a matter of unpardonable sins, merely whether there's a necessity.
There are many people who _do_ need Windows - it's just that reading your
email or having a base from which to reinstall your Ubuntu OS are not two
of the reasons for that necessity.
