Has Ubuntu Replaced Windows on Your Box?

If you want to get fancy, the OP could do this:

1. Wipe the Windows partition.
2. Put *two* partitions there. Mount one as / and the other as /home. 
This installation is "Ubuntu stable".
3. Have both Ubuntu installs (testing and stable) share the same /home.

So all of the OP's personal files are in both installations. 
Furthermore, if he wrecks "Ubuntu testing" this wouldn't affect his 
ability to get at his personal files.
