How do i force removal of a package :

Really?  How do you arrive at that assumption?

I'm telling him to fix it.  See below for forcing.

--force options exist for experts to force certain non-default 
behaviours.  As you will see from man dpkg, they have no impact on an 
error in the package scripts.

So he actually has one option.
