Still fighting to get names to resolve in Ubuntu

I bought the very same router yesterday, and experienced the same
problems with Breezy.

A quick search of the Debian forums found a simple solution: In Network
Settings, under DNS, specify the address of your ISP's actual DNS
servers (shouldn't be too hard to find), instead of the router.

I found that things now work perfectly.
