I'm trying to rescue some files from a computer. I've booted with an
Ubuntu Live CD and want to scp the files to my desktop for safe keeping.
This is what happens:

$ scp files.tar.gz daniel at
ssh connect to host port 22: Connection refused
lost connection

I don't understand. I can ping my desktop ( and I can ssh
to it from other computers. What is it about the Ubuntu LiveCD that
prevents me from using ssh?

    /\/_/   A life? Sounds great!
    \/_/ Do you know where I could download one?
