Well, I'm hardly a newbie at configuring X, and actually modifying Xorg
settings is still pretty much trial and error.  There's no way to see how
changing any specific numbers in xorg.conf is going to help.

There is no option for "Sensitivity" in Kubuntu 

And I seem incapable of turning off tapping.  Admittedly, both these latter
two problems could be KDE rather than X problems.
