What I personally find fascinating is how long a thread this whole issue
has produced :)

I mean, since when has a geeky list like "ubuntu-users" been a forum for
philosophical (and indeed metaphysical) discussion of child rearing ? ;-)

Does this prove that Ubuntu is *really and truly*  "Linux for human
beings?"

It certainly seems to illustrate that geeks have over-active imaginations!
