My criterion is simple - if bzflag runs, I'm happy :-)
With the redeon driver, bzflag ran like a dog. Although the 3d did work
(I got a highest resolution game display), it was woefully, dismally,
unusably slow. As in several seconds between frames! With fglrx
installed, bzflag is very nippy.
Is it possible to get nice fast 3D with the radeon driver? Anyone have a
pointer to a how-to?
Otherwise I will have to keep switching back to the radeon driver if I
want an external display, and the fglrx drivers to play bzflag.
Regards, K.
