firewire CardBus support in Breezy

Hi folks,
I'm looking to get a cardbus/pcmcia firewire (1394) card for my Thinkpad T41 (mainly for capturing video from a JVC miniDV camcorder), but I'm not having a lot of luck finding references to which cards/chipsets are supported in Breezy (Google & Ubuntu forums).

Currently, I've only found one manufacturers site that explicitly lists Linux support for their card (SIIG's 1394 2-Port CardBus, Part #: NN-PC2012).

Is anyone aware of either a list of supported cards/chipsets, or would like to share their experiences with a particular card that works well (or even cards to avoid)?
