1) Note that telling people to install nvidia-glx /and/ nvidia-settings
will land them in a world of confusion in dapper, since the former
contains and conflicts with the latter.

2) There's no need to tell people to backup their config, since
nvidia-glx-enable will produce a backup for them.

3) fglrx DOES NOT REQIURE A LINE IN /etc/modules.  Nearly every HOWTO
claims this is so, and it's wrong.  (it's wrong for nvidia too, but I
note you didn't make the mistake in that section).  When the Xserver
loads, it will dynamically modprobe the kernel modules.

4) If you want users to get smooth automatic upgrades to their
xorg.conf, don't recommend editing it by hand to change the driver, tell
them to dpkg-reconfigure and pick fglrx.
